Read me first...

As you may have noticed if you're a Rammstein fan, it's quite difficult to know much about their private lives: obviously they want to keep them private, and I respect that. So you'll only find here just a few basic things about Paul, taken from reliable sources; and please, don't ask for more :) You can read other bio's in other sites, but I must warn you: those bio's, for the most part, are NOT true. Or at least, nobody has been able to confirm those things are true, so...

Name: he's known now as Paul Landers, though it isn't his original name. Check below for details :)
Date of Birth: December 9th, 1964 - so he's a Sagittarius
Place of Birth: Baumschulenweg, Berlin, Germany
Hair: brown
Eyes: even when I've seen some pics of him where his eyes are blue, I'm pretty sure they're actually brown
Height: around 5'8"
Former job: Boiler
Former Band: Feeling B
Instrument: Rhythm Guitar

Other stuff:

• As you may have seen in Rammstein interviews & documentaries, Paul talks a lot ;) He's always joking too, and seems to have a big sense of humor :)
• He has both his ears pierced, and has dyed his hair many, many colors. I'm thinking about making a gallery specially devoted to "Paul's hairstyle along the years". Seriously.
• After he and his wife divorced (around 1987 I think), he moved in with Flake on Fehrbelliner Strasse in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin; from what I know, they lived there together many years.
• Some of his fav music bands are Metallica, Pantera and Sex Pistols
• He does not like fast food - prefers spicy food instead :)

The story behind: you should know there are a couple of good information sources about Paul and Flake, from their Feeling B years: the first one, the book "Mix mir einen Drink", and the second one, the Feeling B DVD "flüstern und SCHREIEN". I don't own any of them (*sigh*), but still, I've read some things about their content in a couple of websites... and that's why the info I've written above concerning Paul's birthplace is different from most of the sites, for example :) I also can tell you, according to those information sources, that Paul's true name is Heiko Paul Hiersche: Landers comes from his ex-wife, Nikki Landers. And we don't know him as Heiko anymore because, from what I've read, he had his name legally changed to Paul to honor his father.
